Indoor Armored Simplex Fiber Optic Cable
GJSFJV
Indoor Armored Simplex Fiber Optic Cable is a single-fiber tight-buffered cable with spiral steel armor for enhanced mechanical protection in indoor fiber connectivity applications. Available in non-braided and braided constructions, with single-mode and multimode fiber options for patch cords, pigtails, equipment connections and indoor cabling.
Indoor Armored Simplex Fiber Optic Cable is designed for single-fiber indoor connections where additional mechanical protection is required. The tight-buffered fiber is protected by spiral steel armor and reinforced with aramid yarn, providing a compact armored construction for fiber termination, equipment connectivity and patch cord assemblies.
Two construction options are available. The non-braided version uses spiral steel armor with aramid yarn, while the braided version adds a steel wire braid for additional mechanical reinforcement.

The non-braided construction consists of a tight-buffered fiber protected by spiral steel armor, followed by aramid yarn and an outer jacket.
For applications requiring additional mechanical reinforcement, a braided construction is available with an additional steel wire braid between the aramid yarn and outer jacket.
