Construction
Single-mode or multimode optical fiber selected according to transmission and application requirements.
A protective buffer layer is applied directly over the optical fiber to improve mechanical protection, handling and stripping performance.

Tight Buffer Diameter
300 µm, 600 µm and 900 µm tight buffer diameters are available for different cable manufacturing, termination and fiber connectivity requirements.
Buffer Material
PVC – Cost-effective option for general indoor applications.
LSZH – Low-smoke, halogen-free option for buildings, data centers and applications with higher fire-safety requirements.
Hytrel – Flexible thermoplastic polyester elastomer with good mechanical durability and stripping performance.
ETFE – Fluoropolymer option for specialized applications requiring higher temperature and environmental resistance.
Nylon 12 – Flexible and abrasion-resistant polyamide option for specialized mechanical protection requirements.
Buffer Color
Standard 12 fiber identification colors are available for easy fiber identification and management. Customized colors can also be provided according to customer requirements.
