MPO/MTP High Density Data Centre
Data Centre operators responsible for managing reliable, high speed and scalable Data Centre's, are faced with the choice of selecting from a variety of high density connectivity options, each with its own advantages. Due to its ability to support 10G, 40G and 100G transmission systems, MTP® / MPO connectivity is proving to be the solution of choice.
In addition, many cable management features have been included in the solution, ensuring supreme reliability and ease of use. Large volumes of connected patch cords need to be adequately managed around patching fields, in vertical and horizontal cable managers and in cable pathways. The high density MTP®/MPO solution is the perfect balance between density and usability, as well as providing excellent cable and connector protection and management.

MPO/ MTP solution provides a high-density, high-performance, robust, modular solution, for fast installation of enterprise data centre and other high-fibre count cabling implementation. High-density MPO/MTP Cabling System is an optical fiber cable system, consist of MPO/MTP fiber patch cord, MPO/MTP rack mount cassette, MPO/MTP one-push cleaner etc.
1. MPO/MTP fiber patch cords Overview
The MPO/MTP fiber jumper can provide a wide range of applications for all networks and devices that require 100G modules. They use the high-density multimode fiber optic connector system MT series of casing design, MPO / MTP fiber jumper with UPC and APC polished end, and also supports multimode and single-mode applications. The 10G OM3 / OM4 MPO / MTP fiber jumpers provide 10 Gbps of data transfer rates in high-bandwidth applications, which are five times faster than the standard 50 μm fiber jumper.
The MPO / MTP high-density push-pull fiber jumpers are currently used in three areas: high-density cabling data centers, fiber-to-the-home, and connection applications with a splitter, 40G QSFP+ / 100G QSFP28, 10G SFP+ and other optical modules. Today, there are already a series of high-density parallel optical interconnect products that can accommodate optical fiber transmission in modern data centers, such as custom MPO / MTP fiber jumpers, multimode fiber loopers, and QSFP+ high-speed cable assemblies.

2. High-Density Rack Mount Fiber Management
High Density MPO (HDM) Series rackmount panels support high fiber counts and use minimal rack space.
Dense Connectivity: 1RU HDM Series enclosures support up to 432 fibers and 2RU HDM Series enclosures support up to 864 fibers.
HDM Series panels are loaded with MPO adapters and support either patching or patching and splicing. Panels include mounting brackets for 19” and 23” rack systems.
A front door with spring loaded slide latches and removable plexiglass lid provide the user with great jumper visibility, quick access, and spacious maneuverability.
HDM enclosures can be loaded with plug and play type LGX cassettes to support patching between SC or LC connectors and MPO connectors.

4. MPO/MTP One-Push Cleaner
Every fiber end-face should be cleaned and inspected, and MPO Connectors are no different. In fact, cleaning and inspecting can be even more of a concern for MPO Connectors due to the larger surface area. When cleaning these larger surface areas, it is much easier to move contaminants from one fiber to another within the same array. And the larger the array, the higher the risk. With a greater number of fibers, such as with 24- or 32-fiber MPO Connectors, the height differential of fibers is more difficult to control and height variances across the fibers can increase the risk of not every fiber being properly and equally cleaned. That's why it is critical to inspect, clean and always inspect again.
